Discussion

The monsoon will calm down a bit for the next few days and thunderstorm chances for the Valley will greatly diminish. However, the heat is forecast to return, with daytime temperatures above 110°F in the near future. The National Weather Service has an Extreme Heat Warning out for Thursday through Monday. The monsoon may make a comeback by the weekend.

As for dust, dust will remain mostly locally driven through Friday. Then by Saturday evening, blowing dust may be possible again, depending on storm activity around the Valley.

For now, the dust risk is Low each day.

Check back again tomorrow morning of the next update.
