Forecast Discussion:
Today is shaping up to be a rainy day for much of Arizona, including the southeastern part of the state. The National Weather Service has a Flood Watch out for today, and there is also an common Moderate risk for excessive rainfall. This introduces obvious roadway safety concerns. As for the air quality though, the rain will keep PM10 (dust) levels down.
After today, conditions will dry out and calm down. Cloud cover may also linger for a bit on Thursday before clearing out later.
Overall, PM10 will remain low for the rest of the period because of the rain.
Check back tomorrow for more.
