Forecast Discussion:
Strengthening high pressure will lead to less cloudiness and an uptrend in temperatures. In fact, the National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning in effect for today through Monday. The hottest days are expected Thursday and Friday with highs of 114-115 degrees. Southerly breeziness trends up Friday and over the weekend.
Daily peak 8 hour average Ozone will have some day to day fluctuations but is expected to remain in the Good range due to favorable wind patterns.
Daily average Particulate levels are expected to remain in the Good range benefitting from warm season ventilation.
Peak Ventilation Thursday will be Very Good then increase to Excellent Friday and continue that way through the weekend.
