On July 23, 2026, the comment period begins for the proposal to close the Leaking Underground Storage Tank (UST) release case for Dolly Madison, a small strip mall property, in Pima County, Arizona. The comment period ends Aug. 22, 2026.
Leaking UST Case File No.: 4482.01 & .03
Arizona regulations allow case closure at leaking UST sites with groundwater contamination at levels above the Arizona Aquifer Water Quality Standards if it can be demonstrated that there is no exposure risk to public health and any remaining contamination is attenuating. We evaluated site specific conditions and analytical data and determined that the case meets the regulatory requirements for closure.
